ENHANCED OIL RECOVERY (EOR)
Since 2007, Daleel Petroleum has implemented strict EOR protocols; extensive laboratory experiments and several field testing trials of chemical EOR to extract crude oil from our fields. Our Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) technique enables us to increase oil recovery factor by almost 10%. EOR has allowed us to become one of the leading companies in oil production efficiency and it is considered one of the key factors for oil production sustainability.
DEVELOPMENT OF ULTRA-THIN RESERVOIRS
Daleel Petroleum is a pioneer in drilling and developing ultra-thin carbonate reservoir units. Our geo-steering team utilizes integrated subsurface data and logging to act proactively and yield optimum well placement. This resulted in unlocking hydrocarbon volume in Block-5, which increased additional oil reserves to Daleel’s portfolio.
DEVELOPMENT OF TERTIARY RESERVOIRS
Daleel Petroleum is considered a forerunner in Oman for developing the tertiary reservoir unit Umm ErRadhuma. An exciting journey to commercialize the oil production from this reservoir unit from exploration to ongoing field development has proven to be successful. The reservoir is expected to help enrich the tertiary reservoir unit and perhaps facilitate unlocking Umm ErRadhuma hydrocarbon other fields in Oman.
DEVELOPMENT OF HIGH RATE MATRIX ACIDIZATION METHOD
Unlocking Hydrocarbons potential from tight reservoir has been a global challenge where conventional matrix stimulation is not enough. Daleel Petroleum has always strived for innovation, which led us to develop and adopt cost effective large volume high pressure acidization method successfully. This method has proven to have encouraging outcomes with very good improvement in production and injection performance at sustainable rates and without the need for the expensive frac jobs.

Daleel Smart Portal yields a large amount of real time data on wells & facilities to our technical team to analyze for better decision making. The portal is complemented by an Exceptional Based Surveillance System which identifies any deviations from optimum performance, enabling faster corrective action and more efficient operation.

Additionally, the Business Intelligence (BI) Project is another platform where raw data is transformed into meaningful information. The system helps convert real time data and information to insights that support timely decision-making without cost implication.
